Omaha Beach (Assault Troops)

     
A Ready to Roll LCVP with a Raventhorpe Miniatures 'Boat Team' from the US 29th Infantry Division's 116th Regimental Combat Team.
A close up of the Boat Team showing the mix of riflemen and weapon 'operators' (Bazooka, flame-thrower, demolition charge). The LCVP model (mastered by Richard) has been specially designed to accommodate the 15 figures on either 20 mm x 20mm (singles) or 30 mm x 20 mm (double bases).
A modified Britannia Miniatures LCM carrying two 4 figure engineer groups (50 mm x 45 mm bases). The figures, dinghies and other bits are from Raventhorpe Miniatures.
A close up of an engineer group with dingy. The other engineer group is made up with Battlefield miniatures. The casualty bases utilise Battlefield and Skytrex pieces. Casualty bases are used as morale markers in the game and are placed alongside pinned units.
A Sentry models LCT 5 with Ready to Roll Shermans (with added wading kits). Tank commanders are from AB Figures.
A Ready to Roll Sherman Dozer Tank (with AB commander).
 
Ready to Roll DUKW with Raventhorpe 105 mm and crew. The DUKW is also available in waterline version.
A Ready to Roll Priest 105 mm SP howitzer and Raventhorpe crew. The wading exhaust is also available as an accessory from Ready to Roll. The screens were added from plastic card.
     

Omaha Beach (German Defenders)

     
The elements of the WN 66 strongpoint on top of the bluffs at the entrance to the D3 draw. Raventhorpe figures (who also made a resin casting of the MG bunker to incorporate in our model). Panzer III turret converted from a Matchbox plastic kit. Everything else scratch built.
The other bit of WN 66 at ground level in front of the anti-tank ditch. 50mm and crew from Britannia Miniatures. Germans in Zeltbahns fro Raventhorpe.
French 75 mm of WWI vintage (several of which were used by the defenders). Raventhorpe gun and crew.
